Notification Settings
Vesper Audit can notify you when an audit finishes - useful when scanning large sites where you want to step away and be alerted when results are ready.
How notifications work
When enabled, Vesper Audit uses the operating system's native notification system to display a completion alert when a scan finishes. The notification includes the site URL and a count of pages scanned.
- macOS - notifications appear via macOS Notification Center. You may need to grant notification permissions on first use under System Settings > Notifications > Vesper Audit.
Enabling or disabling notifications
- Open Vesper Audit and go to Settings.
- Find the Notifications section.
- Toggle Notify when audit completes on or off.
Troubleshooting notifications
If notifications are not appearing after enabling them in Vesper Audit:
- macOS - check that Vesper Audit has notification permissions in System Settings > Notifications. Also check that Focus or Do Not Disturb modes are not suppressing notifications.
