Point Vesper Audit at any website and walk away. It crawls every internal page automatically, runs WCAG 2.2 A/AA checks, and delivers a complete report - no clicking through pages by hand.
v1.0.0-beta.6 · Apple Silicon · Updates automatically · What's new
Requires macOS · Google ChromeWhat it does
Automated crawling
Crawls all internal pages using your local Chrome install via Puppeteer. Follows links automatically - no sitemap required.
WCAG 2.2 A/AA checks
Runs axe-core on every page. Violations and best practices reported separately, with WCAG criterion links for each issue.
Link text checks
Flags ambiguous link text ("read more", "click here", "details") and duplicate link text that leads to different destinations - two WCAG 2.4.4 patterns axe-core does not cover.
PDFs and broken links
Collects all PDF links and external URLs during the crawl. Runs HTTP HEAD checks on each one and flags anything broken.
Multiple export formats
View results instantly in the in-app report viewer. Export as PDF for clients or sync directly to a Notion page hierarchy - your choice on every run.
Per-client settings
Export and import settings as JSON. Configure exclusions, suppressions, and preferences once per client - reuse every audit.
Report Filter
Narrow a scan to one or more rule categories - Links, Images, Forms, Color & contrast, Page structure, or Keyboard & focus. Run a focused report, hand it to the right person, fix it, rescan.
Platform suppressions
Known Drupal CMS patterns suppressed by default so reports reflect real issues, not platform noise. Fully customizable.
Single Page mode
Skip the crawl and audit just one URL. Useful for quick spot-checks on a specific page without waiting for a full site run.
Omit scanner attribution
A settings toggle removes the "Audited by Vesper Audit" line from reports before they go to clients. Clean output, no tool fingerprint.
Report formats
Browse results instantly in the app, deliver a polished PDF to clients, or push everything to Notion. Every format from a single run.
In-App Viewer
Browse scan results in the Reports tab without opening any external app. Pages sorted by violation count, with impact badges, WCAG references, and guide links per violation.
Branded, print-ready PDF with cover page, summary grid, violations per page, PDFs found, and broken links. Generated natively - no external dependencies.
Notion
Creates a full page hierarchy in your Notion workspace - Audit Report, PDFs Found, Broken Links, Audit Log, and Suppressed Errors as separate child pages. Syncs in the background so you can keep working.
Not just a spreadsheet
Reports that explain themselves.
Most audit tools hand you a raw violation list and leave you to figure out what it means. Vesper Audit reports include plain-language descriptions for every violation, the WCAG criterion it maps to, and a direct link to the relevant Vesper Guide so you know exactly how to fix it.
Every report is fully styled - whether you're browsing results in the app, exporting to PDF, or syncing to Notion. The format that lands in front of your client or board looks like it was designed to communicate, not just dumped from a database.
Built-in report viewer
Results without the file shuffle.
After every scan, flip to the Reports tab and browse your results immediately - no PDF, no file picker. Pages sorted by violation count. Click any page to see every violation, its impact level, the WCAG criterion, and the affected element.
Guide links surface directly in the viewer so you can go from "violation found" to "I know how to fix this" in one click. Historical scans are always available - just open the JSON results file from any previous audit.
